Finding the village barn may not have been much of a challenge for my German removal firm, but carting my awkwardly shaped belongings up the narrow staircase in the barn certainly was! For long term storage it is important to take up very little space as you possibly can by stacking items upwards and also to keep belonging safe and dry. Cuilapa Santa Rosa es uno de los lugares afectados por el desbordamiento de agua de uno de sus cerros, así como las fuertes lluvias que han habido, aún siguen en alerta naranja ya que han tenido más de 3,200 temblores hasta esta fecha y al parecer siguen los problemas. A través del Hno. Héctor Gutiérrez, voluntario de CPTLN, pudimos llegar el 9 de septiembre a entregarles una ayuda que gracias a empresas que dieron su granito de arena fue posible hacerlo; 50 familias fueron beneficiadas, tuvimos el apoyo de dos empresas que donaron; incaparina, sopas, azúcar, frijol, maseca, margarina, huevos, gallinas, así como también ropa, un camión fue prestado para poder llevar la ayuda a Cuilapa.
Nuestra Directora Rebeca de Franco, personal de CPTLN: Melvin Silva, Meli de Pineda, Lorena de Rodríguez, Thelma de González y voluntarios Kevin Pineda, Estefani Pineda y Cecilia Silva, colaboraron con preparar las bolsas de ropa, las mochilas con alimentos, se entregaron folletos para cada familia; Mi Pequeño Libro de Consejos, Educando para la Vida, Fortaleza en Tiempos Difíciles, entre otros.
Oramos para que Dios cuide de la vida de todas estas personas que ahora están sufriendo, Cuilapa necesita de Dios y de tu ayuda!
